This is totally off topic for this blog and it may or may not be news to you but… just in case you haven’t heard….
For those of you that plan on registering domain names in the near future take special care to stay away from ANY trademarked phrases.
I recently got “dumped on” for having 2 parked domains that contained a trademarked phrase in them.
I had plans to create forums promoting this product around these domains and they were parked for a very short time but apparently this is a giant “no no” and this company is the only entity that may speak of or about its product in public.
Don’t count on domain privacy to protect you either; I paid for it but I mite as well have wrapped myself in saran wrap when the behemoth put the pressure on.
I will not be posting the “offending” domain names here but hopefully reading this will save someone else the trouble of dealing with “them”.
